Camino Oscuro Bio:
In late June of 2005, four musicians got togteher and jammed for a few hours. It was instant chemistry.
Each musician felt a certain amount of disappointment with their current band situations, but the chemistry the
four guys had together encouraged them to move on with a new project. Camino Oscuro was born.
The band had its first performance within three weeks of its existance specializing in Northern New Mexico
Rancheras, Cumbias, Valses, Polkas, Country and Rock music. The band entered the studio after a month to
record its first CD. Entitled Al Fin (Finally) took the band a year and a half of hard work and many late nights
to create, but the CD has proven to be successful for the band.
C.O. has gone through a few member changes in its short existance but still remains one of the most entertaining
bands in Northern New Mexico.
Daniel Aragon, the bands manager, and Joseph Chavez are the only original members left but with drummer
Will Varela and the newest member of the band, guitarist Eddie Pacheco, C.O. remains one of New Mexico's
powerhouse dance bands. Be sure to check em out.
